For just 8 euros, we provide a comprehensive stringing service. First, we carefully cut out the old strings and thoroughly clean the racket frame using a specialized solution to ensure optimal performance. Then, we expertly string your racket, apply a fresh grip, and paint the logo for a professional finish. This meticulous process guarantees that your racket is in peak condition, ready for your next match.

You should choose your string and tension with at least as much care as you choose your racquet. The “rule of thumb” is that you should re-string your racquet(s) as many times per year as you play per week (unless your strings break, of course). As your level advances, you may find advantages to stringing more often so your strings are “fresh”. When strings go “dead,” they don’t lose power, they lose tension. This means that you have looser strings, so the ball goes farther for the same effort, with less control. You also lose control because the strings feel differently than they do when they’re fresh, so you either have to adjust your game, or content yourself with not playing your best.

Customization

Customization simply means making your racquet fit your particular needs and playing style. Here are our top suggestions for customizing your racquet:

  • Grip Sizing and Modification
    We can build up or reduce the size of your grip, or even change its shape.
  • Regripping
    Whether you use an overgrip or not, a leather grip provides a firm feel that gives you the feedback you need to know how you are striking the ball.
  • Weighting
    We can add weight to your racquet in many ways to good effect. For example, excessive shock impact is bad for the arm and is usually caused by a racquet that is too light.

Stringing Primer

Racquets typically have a recommended tension range, with lower tensions giving more power and comfort, while higher tensions augment control. Typically, tensions range between 50 and 70 pounds. You typically provide your string with an indicative tension. This is called the reference tension. If you’ve had your frame re-strung by different stringers, however, you know that even with the same frame, the same string, and the same requested tension, the racquet can seem completely different when you get it back. The reason for this is that there are many factors that can influence the finished results.
